This past month has just flown by! I can't even believe that it is already spring and that soon April will be here! It's just crazy!
Next Friday I'll be heading out to Fort Worth, TX to go to the Passion 2011 Conference! I am totally excited to hear the speakers and be able to worship and minister with thousands of other college students! I'm ready to hear God speak, to feel His presence in the auditorium, to have Him work through me. I'm just so excited! I know He's going to do some great things!
The application processes are going well. I'm waiting on one more reference form to show up for NAMB, and then they'll be able to start reviewing my profile and tell me where to serve! I'm waiting to hear back from SEBTS about where I stand in my application. I think that they have received everything, but I should know by tomorrow. After I hear if they've received everything, then I'll be waiting to find out if I'm accepted or not...which could take up to a month.
I'm also waiting to find out what is going on with my knee. I hurt it a while ago, and it's been bothering me recently, so I broke down and went to the doctor about it. He thinks that I've torn my meniscus, so he sent me to get an MRI and to see a specialist. So I've gotten my MRI, and now I'm waiting for my appointment with the specialist to see what is going on and how to fix it. It could mean surgery, crutches, or something as simple as wearing a brace for a while. I won't know until I go see the doctor.
In all this waiting, I am confident that my Savior knows what He's doing. I am confident that He is in control and that everything that happens is for His glory and for my good. I keep telling myself this when I start to freak out, not knowing what will happen, because it's not about me. It's all about Him. This life, the things I do, where I go, who I talk to, what I read, what I watch. It's all about God and Him receiving the glory for everything that happens.
I am so excited that God is working in my life. He's going to continue to work in my life in crazy amazing ways. And I am so excited to follow Him on it. :)
